Owner Ed Hacker is a long-time Lexington resident with strong community ties. After attending the University of Kentucky, Ed started his career as an accountant and entered the automotive parts and repair business in 1979. In 1984, he started his first repair facility.

1st Stop Auto Care Center is an ACDelco Certified Repair Center and Parts Plus Car Care Center. Our biggest asset is you the customer and your continuing support and referrals.

Most of our employees have been with the company since the 1980s and we now work a five-day week.

Ed is proud of the role he and 1st Stop Auto Care Center play in the community. His charity passion is the Child Care Fund and Early Childhood Development and he also supports the Lexington Humane Society.
